How do I know whether or not a software program supports Wacom tablets?

Answer:
Generally speaking, Wacom tablets can work in ALL application software just like a mouse (in mouse mode, relative coordination mode). With the tablet driver installed, Wacom tablets can work in absolute coordination mode. Other tablet functions, such as eraser, tilt, tool ID, require the built-in support by the application software used. In other words, the pen only reacts to pressure in software which supports pressure sensitivity.
For the Windows platform, if a software is developed according to Wintab API specifications, then Wacom tablets should be used in it with pressure sensitivity, etc. If you do not know whether your software supports pressure sensitive tablets or not, please check its system recommendations, where something like "supports Wintab compatible input devices" should be mentioned. For a comprehensive list of compatible programs which have been tested by Wacom, please check the Tablet Enhanced Software (www.wacom-asia.com/faq/penfunction.html).
